2009 H1N1 flu update 3

April 29, 2009

Students, faculty, and staff:

The University has one status update to report

TRAVEL TO MEXICO:  As a safety precaution, the Education Abroad Suspension Committee (EASC), in consultation with the University’s Safety and Security team, has canceled all current and May/summer education abroad programs in Mexico until further notice.  In addition, the University is advising against all University travel to Mexico until further notice. This is in alignment with Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and U.S. State Department travel alerts. All faculty, staff, and students are advised to cancel all nonessential planned travel to Mexico. Further information can be found on the Learning Abroad Center Web site.

Please check the University’s swine flu Web site for the latest University-related information on this issue.
